JFC crowned Champions of the Tuesday League - October 2017!

Another thrilling season came to an end last week with JFC been crowned champions and winning the division by 7 clear points from their nearest rivals. The season included 7 teams that all mounted a serious title challenge for the league, unlike the seasons before where only 2-3 teams were stand out favourites. This meant the prize of winning the league meant more than ever before as the standard of teams increased. Previous Champions IG1 and Potential Squad came close as did Prohawks and HFA in this closely contested season. 

So what has changed to allow JFC to win the league this season, when previously they have failed? The answer as stated by the manager of JFC - Faz Ahmed: "Usually we have 7 fixed players throughout the season and that has costs us in the past when players got injured in crucial games as we had nobody ready to fill in when needed. This season we had a bigger squad of 10 players and rotated between us to ensure we were all match fit and played our brand of all-out attacking football and this paid off in the long run as we finally won the league".

The new season kicks off tonight and this season could be the toughest one yet. Can any team out there dethrone JFC?
